Let your ears be instruments of peace.
Pamela Whitman founded Compassionate Heart Productions in 1989 with a mission to produce and tour high quality educational arts productions that promote peace through intercultural understanding. She shares her message with a global audience through live concerts; speaking engagements; A Course in Miracles retreats; A Course in Miracles conference calls; and recordings for inner peace. DreamSculpt Books and Media (Waterside) recently published her book Yield to Joy in paperback and ebook editions.
Pamela has presented on such diverse stages as Nepal Television (NTV); Carnegie Hall in New York; The Himalayan Hard Rock Café; The House of Blues in Hollywood; Young Asia Television and at Indian Reservations, spiritual centers and performing arts centers. Artists for a Better World honored Pamela in an international award ceremony in Hollywood for her humanitarian work as an artist.
Whitman created and directed the multi-cultural, world-rock band WorldColor which toured nationally for fourteen years. She led WorldColor in a three-year cultural exchange with the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. The project was the subject of a television documentary that aired in seventeen Asian countries.
Pamela performs original interpretations of world music and original New Age music co-written with bassist Rich Kurtz. Whitman uses electric guitar pedals, whistle tones and breath effects to create an angelic atmosphere. Her recordings are available on all digital media outlets. Her 2018 release with Rich Kurtz, “Ancient Vision” was composed specifically for meditation, yoga, massage and wellbeing. "Ancient Vision" can be heard on "Hearts of Space" radio or Spotify.
Pamela is an ordained minister of “A Course in Miracles” - a path of spiritual psychotherapy. She facilitates the Daily National “A Course in Miracles Workbook Conference Call”. She initiated the Conference Calls in 2012 and enjoys watching the community grow. She joyously leads a group of dedicated A Course in Miracles students at Unity by the Shore in Neptune, New Jersey. Pamela offers A Course in Miracles retreats for in-depth study and relaxation.
Pamela hosted inspirational radio programming (“Miracles and “The Miracle Revolution”) in live, pre-recorded, webcast and remote live radio broadcast locations in Asia, Central America and The United States for ten years. Whether broadcasting live from the Rainforest in Costa Rica on Unity.FM, over the air from the Himalayan Broadcasting Company in Kathmandu, Nepal or to weekly listeners on 91.7 FM WFLR Pomona in New Jersey, Pamela Whitman shared a message of inner and outer peace.
In the summers, Pamela enjoys playing classical favorites by the sea in the Ocean City Pops Orchestra where she has been the Principal Flutist since 1989. Pamela earned her degree in Music Performance from the University of Michigan. She studied privately with Julius Baker and Jim Walker. She is a descendant of great American poet Walt Whitman.

(Music BIZ Magazine)
"Miss Whitman has found a way to consistently present new and unique musical visions, based on the sounds and styles of diverse and time honored indigenous cultures world wide."
